The all new Chevrolet Orlando – 7-seat flexibility meets modern design

The Chevrolet Orlando – a boldly designed family vehicle that’s as versatile on the inside as it is striking on the outside. One moment it’s transporting seven people in comfort, the next the seats are down and it’s full of furniture. With its multiple seating combinations the Orlando is a supremely adaptable vehicle.

Outstanding design
Strikingly different, the Orlando is a personal statement – this is one car that will stand out in the car park, and for all the right reasons.
The Orlando is available in a range of attractive colours from ‘Smokey Grey’ to ‘Velvet Red’. Alloy wheels come as standard on the LT and LTZ trims.

Stylish interior design

Inside, the Orlando is every bit as stylish as it is on the outside. A Corvette-inspired dual-cockpit provides the centerpiece of the interior, while slick paneling flows through the spacious cabin in a wave-like manner.
Dials and driver-aids are intuitively located, with key audio and MP3 controls either on the steering wheel or on close by on the dash.
Chevrolet ice-blue lighting illuminates the instruments and the dials clearly.
Passengers will find the inside of the Orlando is surprisingly roomy with more than enough leg- and headroom.

It's all about flexibility
7-seaters need to do so much more than seat 7 people, these days, it’s all about versatility. So, whether you need to fill your MPV with friends/luggage/dogs or golf bags, the Orlando has the seating and storage solutions to make it possible. The Orlando truly is whatever you want it to be.
The Orlando has multiple seating combinations: if you’re transporting bulky items you can fold all the rear seats down flat, or just some of them – and so easily that you can do it with one hand.
There are also many places to store or conceal your personal items such as a cargo compartment in the rear wheel well, or another behind the radio to discreetly store and connect MP3 players and audio equipment.

Safety - we take it seriously
We know that safety is a priority for you. That’s why the Orlando uses the latest in airbag technology and incorporates 6 airbags: dual front airbags, seat mounted thorax/pelvis airbags, and roof rail curtain airbags to protect the neck and head of passengers should side impact occur. Dual ISOFIX system is standard on all Orlando models – for use with ISOFIX child seats.

The Orlando features a tough reinforced safety cage that incorporates a ‘long cradle’ high energy absorbing system to lessen the effect of any impact and safeguard occupants.
Ultra high tensile strength steels are used in all areas that call for special protection – such as side pillars and fuel tank casings – while crash boxes and crumple zones use softer aluminium to further cushion any impact.

Traction control is standard
‘Electronic Stability Control’ system provides traction control to help avert slides, by automatically applying corrective braking to appropriate wheels to help you quickly regain control.
Park assist
Parking is also made a little safer – LT and LTZ models offer an intelligent park assist system to protect the vehicle’s exterior from unnecessary damage.

Performance when you need it
Performance may not be something that you’d expect from a seven seater but, as usual, the Orlando surprises. The engines pull hard and strong, working together with the vehicle’s specifically developed suspension systems to deliver supple handling, while the design of the available powerplants ensure impressive levels of economy.
Dynamic drive is delivered by a range of engines, from a 1.8L 5-speed petrol engine, to a 2.0L diesel model available in automatic or 6-speed manual. Petrol or diesel, manual or automatic – whichever engine or transmission you go for, you’ll find the drive dynamic, the gear shifting silky smooth and the power as adept at pulling heavy loads as it is at transporting multiple occupants.
The Orlando may have the versatility of an MPV, but its handling feels like no other vehicle in the segment. In the curves it hugs the road with sure-footed confidence, and on the open road it settles in for a smooth enjoyable ride, whatever the conditions.
